BOOZE NEWS: Dry Shifts To Wet, Beer on Fire, & Very Good Budget Wine

Dry Shifts To Wet - It seems that dry January is great with long-lasting health benefits. Except when that doesn’t happen. I still am going to say I recommend trying it, even part of the time. Has it worked for you if you’ve tried it?  A study has recently shown that enforced abstinence led to a very wet February.  So what does this tell us, do Dry January because you choose to and want to - don’t force it. Beer on Fire! Well, it’s called beer anyway, which might surprise you. When you last had a drink of fireball did you consider it beer? Let me clarify - there are two types of Fireball - the whiskey version and the malt beverage called "Fireball Cinnamon". Fireball Cinnamon is in places like supermarkets, gas stations, and other retailers Get more on the story at the link https://vinepair.com/articles/fireball-top-50-beer-brand/

Very Good Budget Wine doesn’t have to cost much and here’s a list of wines that don’t go over my favorite cutoff price of $25, and I usually don’t spend much less than $15. One is from the Finger Lakes region of New York that I recently mentioned. Check out the whole list at the link https://www.winemag.com/2023/01/11/best-budget-american-wine/
